Memphis, TN, February 7, 2007 - Chuck Haslebacher, who has served as chief operating officer with VP Buildings, since May, 2005, has been named president of the Memphis-based company, one of the nation's largest manufacturers of metal buildings.
The announcement was made today by Fernando Canales, director of Grupo IMSA North American operations. Grupo IMSA, based in Monterrey, Mexico, is the parent company of VP Buildings. In making the announcement, Canales recognized Haslebacher's broad experience with the company, his dedication and proven record of accomplishment.
Haslebacher joined VP Buildings in 1980. Before being named COO, he served as vice president of customer service. VP Buildings is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grupo IMSA, S.A.B. de C.V., one of Mexico's leading diversified industrial companies.
"Chuck has been selected to lead VP Buildings because of his understanding of the builder network, the technical aspects of VP's engineering and manufacturing processes, and his proven leadership skills and vision for the company," Canales said.

Haslebacher, who earned a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Engineering at the University of West Virginia, began his career as an engineer in VP's Memphis office. During his tenure with VP he held several positions including Design Engineer and later, Service Manager.
