Memphis, TN, January 24, 2007 - VP Buildings has promoted Chad Beery to the position of Manager of Learning and Development.
Beery will be responsible for VP University, including the internal and external training it provides. Beery will oversee customer training as well as looking for new ways to help employees develop their technical skills. One of his main focus areas will be matching class offerings with business needs.
Beery is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Business Administration. He has been with VP Buildings for 12 years and has served in several capacities including, Drafting, Customer Service, Technical Training Coordinator for the North Carolina Service Center and a VP University Trainer. Beery was also a Black Belt in the Six Sigma program. He and his wife, Toni, have two children – Aden, 10, and Leyna, 9.
Beery will be at the VP facility in North Carolina.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, VP Buildings engineers and manufactures steel building systems for low-rise commercial applications, including manufacturing, warehouse, school and commercial applications. The company markets its products through a network of more than 1,000 authorized builders.
VP Buildings, which has affiliations in Europe, Asia and South America, is AISC certified.
